Aaron Medical Center named Top Rural Health Practice in America

Aaron Medical Center won top national recognition from the National Rural Health Care Association (NRHCA).

AMC was recognized as the "outstanding Rural Health Practice" in America.

Betty King, one of the directors of the NRHCA said "Aaron Medical Center had plenty of strong competition for this award but was simply head and shoulders above the rest".

The Outstanding Rural Health Practice award "recognizes a community oriented rural health care delivery program which has improved access to rural people through innovative, comprehensive approaches. Factors taken into consideration include: outreach efforts, preventive health and education programs; quality and efficiency of care; and strong community support and involvement."
