Cervical pre-malignant virus can effect a child-bearing woman in her quest to carry a pregnancy to term. With continued reoccurrence of a pre-malignant disease, as a woman or young girl are treated medically to prevent cervical cancer, the cervix may not be able to stay closed during pregnancy, thus causing an incompetent cervix with the loss of the pregnancy ( a miscarriage).
Another problem with the need for repeat treatment, the cervix can become scarred, thus preventing it from dilating during labor, resulting in a Cesarean Section. This increases the risk of medical problems for both mother and infant. With the immunization for young girls and women, before starting intercourse, these problems will be solved.
