Dr. Phil Aaron Medical Center is a licensed Rural Health Clinic. This practice has historically been one of the most innovative practices in the nation.

     During the earlier years the center's founder, General Surgeon and Gastrointerologist, Dr. Oris Aaron was joined by his son, Dr. Phil Aaron, Family and Preventive Medicine Physician, who has functioned as CEO over the past twenty-five (25) years.

     In 1985 the practice was designated the "Outstanding Rural Practice" in the nation by the National Rural Health Association. It continues to maintain an active role in Rural Health innovations including the expanded use of mid level practitioners.
